The key success factors include demographics and psychographics of the customer base, demographic and psychographic makeup of the real world trade area, proximity of competitors and complimentary retailers, accessibility of site, street layout and traffic patterns, store design and layout, signage, local topographical features (lakes, rivers, ravines,railways, freeways and other natural and mandmade barriers) and, perhaps most important, store management.
